Calumpong, Kennedy Roll Past Century

Jessalynn Calumpong had 24 points and was named tournament MVP as Kennedy defeated Century, 57-45, in the championship of the Garden Grove Christmas tournament at Garden Grove High.

Nicole Doi made four three-pointers and finished with 13 points for Kennedy (9-7), which rallied from an eight-point first-quarter deficit with a 20-9 run in the second quarter.

Charlenda Van Buren had 14 points and Elizabeth Mendoza had 13 for Century (8-6).

Magnolia 42, Anaheim 34--Vao Faoa had 16 points and 15 rebounds, Mariah Mendoza had 10 points and five steals and Jasmin Young had 11 assists for Magnolia (6-8).
