Shots fired from a white pickup truck injured two people in a car on California 118, authorities said Friday.
The shooting occurred at 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the Balboa Boulevard exit, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jason Lee said.
The victims were taken to Granada Hills Community Hospital. One was released and the other was in stable condition Friday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
No further information was available for either the suspects or victims.
The incident may have been gang-related, Lee said.
