Uninformed Reviewer

I was anticipating your review of the Tallis Scholars, since I wasn’t able to attend the concert (“Tallis Voices Soar Melodically in Centuries-Old Sacred Song,” by Richard S. Ginell, Dec. 19). It is unfortunate that you chose to send a reviewer who openly admits his unfamiliarity with the subject of early music, and then proceeds to demonstrate that ignorance with meaningless blather.
