MILTON, Pa. — A recent high school dropout detonated a powerful firecracker at his alma mater and, armed with knives, confronted a vice principal, police said.
Paul James Emery, 18, was charged with arson and aggravated assault in connection with Tuesday’s incidents at Milton Area High School.
Police said Emery detonated an oversized M-80 firecracker and confronted Vice Principal Thomas W. Morgan, saying Morgan had ruined his life. Nobody was hurt.
Emery, who dropped out this fall, was convicted of criminal mischief and fined Dec. 8 for shoving Morgan as the vice principal escorted him in a hallway.
