The Huntington Beach Art Center will present an exhibit titled Centered on the Center, Feb. 3-18. The exhibit will show works from more than 200 local artists working in a variety of media.
This is the sixth consecutive year the museum has held the exhibit. The center selected more than 400 pieces of art for the show during a two-day open call earlier this year. Darlene DeAngelo, the center’s curator, will also select two artists from this year’s show who will be invited to display a new body of work for a two-person exhibition next December.
The exhibit will be on display from noon to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 8 p.m. Thursdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free. Information: (714) 374-1650.
