Responsible Driving

* Re: “Life-and-Death Choices,” Nov. 26.
There won’t be a tomorrow for my son Timmy, 25, killed Nov. 12 by an 18 year-old driver.
We cannot expect the police to be on every roadway. It is our responsibility to drive in a safe and sane manner--a responsibility not only to the public but to our family and friends. A choice we make.
Seconds took my son and changed our family forever. That extra second Tim could have taken leaving work. That second this boy turned left.
We buried our son a week ago. He made an impression on all he met, the last being that life and death can be just seconds apart.
