Beach Closing

* I am astounded at the minimal discussion regarding Huntington Beach’s miraculous opening of a section of the polluted beaches in time for the Labor Day weekend. It was a blessing, and it was a sign of hope for a solution to the problems.
I understand local businesses in Huntington have been pressuring the city to find a solution (and rightly so), but at what cost do these dollars come? I was in the water alongside friends and family and was infuriated by the news reports of the reclosing.
I have seen some irresponsible and stupid actions by government before, but this tops them all.
