Simon Property Group was given a green light to add the names of eight restaurants and stores to the exterior of the newly reopened Shops at Mission Viejo.
The Planning Commission unanimously approved the addition of the new signs at its Monday meeting.
Mall tenants that will be allowed to place their signs on the outside of the mall include Talbots, the Cheesecake Factory, Ruby’s Diner, Crate and Barrel, Le Diplomat Cafe, Bon Jour Cafe, Vie De France and Restoration Hardware.
The city will allow each of the stores to place one sign on the exterior wall facing the parking lot.
