The Planning Commission on Monday approved a plan to put a Denny’s diner in the College Center along Marguerite Parkway.
The diner, which will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner around the clock, will occupy the building that formerly housed the Blazing Saddles restaurant.
The 5,700-square-foot building will be renovated to include a green roof, gray siding and a new decor called the Denny’s Diner 2000 look.
The commission unanimously approved the plan on the condition that the restaurant and the community development staff are able to agree on signs.
