CSU Partnerships

While I appreciated your article on a university-hosted charter school in San Diego, I felt readers should know that similar partnerships exist in Los Angeles County (Aug. 18).
For instance, Cal State Dominguez Hills hosts the California Academy of Mathematics and Science (CAMS), a highly successful comprehensive high school. Our Cal Poly Pomona campus is host to the International Polytechnic High School (I-Poly High), which offers a demanding, technology-centered curriculum. And Cal State Los Angeles’ Charter School of Education helped establish and continues to work in partnership with the Accelerated School, a nationally recognized charter school in South-Central Los Angeles.
