George Key School will receive some remodeling to bring the facility up to standards outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Placentia-Yorba Linda School Board on Tuesday approved about $25,000 in funding for the project, which will also include a lunch shelter, additional air-conditioning and fireproofing.
The board also voted to renew a contract between Thousand Pines Elementary School, a science camp in Crestline and Morse Avenue Elementary School. Morse usually sends its sixth-graders to the outdoor school for three- to four-day field trips to learn about nature.
