Tall trees and low walls will continue to identify the entire Baker Ranch commercial district, planning commissioners decided last week. The 666-acre area next to the Foothill Transportation Corridor is divided among several owners, with some proposing landscaping and sign designs that don’t meet the county’s original 1988 design guidelines. Commissioners also agreed to maintain rules barring company names on street corner monuments in the development.
