With 180 yards of offense and two touchdowns in the first half of its game against Kennedy, San Fernando didn’t need any help moving the ball. But the Golden Cougars obliged nonetheless.
Kennedy was whistled for 10 penalties for 102 yards in the first half. A 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct and a 17-yard pass interference call were the biggest gains during San Fernando’s two touchdown drives.
“Last week we only had 35 yards [in penalties] but we’re making up for it tonight,” said Coach Bob Francola of Kennedy.
