UC Irvine men’s basketball team picked up two players for next season. Center Dave Korfman said he will play at Irvine, where he will join forward Stanislav Zuzak, who verbally committed last week.
Korfman, a 7-foot-1, 270-pound center, averaged 15 points and nine rebounds for MiraCosta College last season. He played at Boulder City (Nev.) High School.
Zuzak, a 6-9, 220-pound forward, is from the Czech Republic. He has not played in the United States.
USC will play at unbeaten UCLA in women’s volleyball tonight at 7. The Trojans trail the Bruins by two games early in the Pacific 10 season.
