Excellent beginner biography of the man who landed in America.

Evocative illustrations that draw the reader into a 15th century world.

Third grade: “Christopher Columbus and the Great Voyage of Discovery,” by JoAnne Weisman and Kenneth Deitch, illustrated by Marion Eldridge

Large picture book format about a young boy who becomes the “Admiral of the Ocean Sea.”
