Placentia is helping residents teach their old dogs new tricks.
The city is offering dog obedience classes from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Jan. 12 at Tuffree Park. The 10-week novice class is for dogs 6 months and older. Pit bulls are not accepted.
Dogs will be trained to sit, heel and come to owners on command.
