Re “Garcetti Seeks to Overturn 4 Cases Tainted by LAPD,” Nov. 10: With the spate of innocent people in jail, no mention seems to have been made as to the responsibility of the prosecutors. As these learned gentlemen are sworn to see that “justice is done,” are we to assume that they received no complaint or hint that these cases were in fact setups? Could it be that they are more interested in getting convictions to enhance their careers than protecting the falsely accused?
