ROSEMEAD — A 36-year-old driver was shot and killed by someone who pulled alongside her on Interstate 10 early Friday, authorities said.
Ngoc Le Diep of Claremont was found dead in her Nissan Maxima shortly after the 2 a.m. shooting, a sheriff’s deputy said. Her car had stopped along the shoulder of the freeway near Walnut Grove Avenue, officials said.
Sheriff’s investigators have found no suspect or motive, said Deputy Boris Nikolof. They are looking for a witness who reported the shooting after hearing a popping sound and seeing Diep’s car veer off the road.
