Chicago ’68 Convention Site Scheduled to Be Razed

CHICAGO — The site of the 1968 Democratic National Convention, at which antiwar protesters clashed with police and troops, is due to be razed to make way for an industrial complex.
The International Amphitheater opened in 1934 as the site of a livestock exposition.
