Late Debuts for Two Holland America Ships
- Share via
Holland America’s two newest ships, the Volendam and the Zaandam, will be late out of Italy’s Fincantieri shipyards, where they are being built, forcing the line to rejigger schedules. The Volendam’s maiden voyage will be Nov. 12 instead of Aug. 24. Its fall Canada-New England itineraries will be done by the Maasdam, and the Rotterdam will cover for the Maasdam in Europe. The Zaandam’s maiden voyage moves from Feb. 25, 2000, to March 26. Holland America is making other changes, too. For details, see your travel agent or call (800) 426-0327.
