Lancaster’s Late Rally Fizzles, 5-3

With two out and the bases loaded in the top of the ninth, Rafael Lopez grounded out to end a Lancaster rally and allow the Lake Elsinore Storm to hang on for a 5-3 victory Thursday night.
Craig Kuzmic hit a home run for the JetHawks (13-22) in the sixth inning to tie the game, 3-3, but Jeb Dougherty hit a run-scoring single in the eighth to put the Storm (16-18) ahead for good.
