VILLA PARK

A group of residents is trying to organize a New Year’s celebration in the city. The VP2K Committee envisions 400 to 500 people attending the party--from 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. Jan. 1--between City Hall and Rockwell’s Cafe & Bakery. The night could include hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, other food and nonalcoholic drinks, as well as champagne, wine and beer, and dancing. The committee would also consider providing limousine or van service between Villa Park homes and the party. The party would be open primarily to city residents and their friends, but anyone involved with Villa Park would be welcomed. To determine interest in such a party, the committee is asking people to send e-mail to BobMcG[email protected] or call City Hall: (714) 998-1500.
