Man’s Body Found in Local Stream

SAUGUS — The body of a man was found in a Bouquet Canyon stream Thursday night, and authorities believe he may have died while fishing.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene about 6:30 p.m. after the body was found by a passerby, said Sgt. Kevin Blake the Santa Clarita sheriff’s station.
Authorities believe the man may have hit his head after falling about five feet. He was found face-down in 2 feet of water. No information on the man’s identity was released pending notification of family.
