Recently purchased Marina Village Shopping Center in Huntington Beach will get a fresh coat of paint and new awnings as part of a $75,000 to $100,000 touch-up beginning in the next week.

The 149,100-square-foot center at Springdale Street and Edinger Avenue was purchased last week for about $13.7 million by San Diego-based Pan Pacific Retail Properties Inc.

The center is 91% leased, and the new owners expect to fill the empty spaces soon, said Stuart Tanz, Pan Pacific’s chief executive. “The property should be fully occupied within the next 60 to 90 days,” he said.
