The City Council is seeking candidates to fill one vacancy on the Cultural Arts Commission and one vacancy on the Traffic Commission. The Cultural Arts Commission advises the council on the city’s arts facilities and programs and supports community interest and participation in the arts. The commission meets at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. The Traffic Commission advises the council on traffic regulations and their enforcement and meets at 3 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Applicants must be city residents and registered voters. Applications are available at the personnel office, City Hall, 5275 Orange Ave. The deadline is 5 p.m. May 14. Information: (714) 229-6683.
