Softball
Little had 12 hits, including three home runs and a double in 18 at-bats, in the Easton Showcase Tournament at Fullerton last weekend. Little, a catcher-designated hitter, had a slugging percentage of 1.222 for the tournament. Little, a senior from Olympia, Wash., played two seasons at Oklahoma State before transferring to Fullerton.
THIS WEEK
Baseball: The Titans (14-5), who swept a three-game series from Houston last weekend, open the Big West Conference season at 7 p.m. Friday against New Mexico State. The teams also play at Titan Field at 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. First baseman Chris Beck is batting .473 with 30 runs batted in, both team-leading totals.
Softball: The Titans (11-7) play Notre Dame at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Titan softball complex before going to Sacramento State for games at noon Saturday and Sunday. The Titans were 4-2 in last weekend’s Easton Showcase Tournament.
Men’s and women’s track: The Titans will host the Ben Brown Invitational, which is named in memory of the late Titan assistant coach, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Women’s tennis: The Titans (4-5) host Cleveland State at 2 p.m. Wednesday and Idaho State at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Men’s soccer: The Titans will play the Galaxy in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Titan Stadium.
