The City Council recently approved spending $16,370 to repair a 4-inch fire water main and a 2-inch domestic water line at Richard T. Steed Memorial Park. The main and water line broke underneath the park’s restaurant building in March, causing damage to a nearby patio and the surrounding area from substantial mudflows. The repairs will be paid for out of council contingency funds, leaving the fund balance at $91,330. Information: (949) 361-8200.
