* A proposal by the National Assn. of Securities Dealers to require day-trading firms to extensively screen their customers and even warn them of the risks of such a practice makes one wonder at how much more dangerous day-trading is than owning a gun. I just feel so much safer knowing novices won’t be allowed to practice day trading. By the way, do gun dealers explain the risks and dangers of owning a gun to their unscreened customers? Just wondering.
