GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS

* Pac-Con Construction in Tehachapi was awarded a contract for $479,500 from Ventura County to build two pieces of the South Branch Arroyo Conejo in Newbury Park. The project, which is in two phases, involves constructing 200 feet of a reinforced concrete conduit and drains where Reino Road intersects Kimber Drive and Mayfield Street.
The work, which is expected to continue until early December, will involve detours and road closures.
