Applied Power Unit Buys Anaheim Firm’s Assets

APW Electronics Solutions, a unit of Applied Power Inc., has acquired the assets of Connector Technology Inc. in Anaheim. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
An APW Electronics Solutions spokesman said the transaction didn’t include Connector Technology’s liabilities. He added that APW has hired all of Connector Technology’s former employees.
The company said the acquisition added back-plane design and manufacturing to its core capabilities. Applied Power, based in Milwaukee, supplies tools, equipment and systems to original-equipment manufacturers.
