Re The Times’ endorsement of Victor Griego (editorial, May 30):
Nick Pacheco has other ideas besides the crime problem, but unfortunately in L.A.’s 14th District that is the No. 1 priority to many of us. Gangs, graffiti and the deterioration of our neighborhoods do affect all of the other issues. I have heard both Griego and Pacheco on various occasions and Pacheco is not limited to one issue.
I want someone who has lived in my district all his life and didn’t move to South Pasadena for 4 1/2 years, only to move back six months ago in the hopes of becoming a council member.
