Traffic Stop Turns Into a ‘Hot’ Cocaine Charge

ASTORIA, Ore. — A suspected drug trafficker was arrested when the cocaine he had stashed down his pants was burning his crotch so much he had to ask if he could remove it, police said.
Police pulled over the car Roberto Valiente-Martinez, 28, was riding in Saturday because the driver had parked in a crosswalk. Valiente-Martinez soon began to get fidgety, police said.
After a few minutes, the man pleaded for permission to remove the cocaine, police said.
Valiente-Martinez was arrested and charged with drug dealing and possession. Police said he was also carrying heroin.
