The Traffic Commission tonight will decide whether to hold Traffic Safety Day this year despite last year’s low attendance. The event, which the commission hopes will educate the public about safety issues, featured presentations from the fire department, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Students Against Drunk Driving. This year, the commission will try to come up with more interactive activities that will attract more Laguna Hills High School students, according to a report prepared by Public Works director Ken Rosenfield.
The monthly meeting starts at 7 p.m. in City Council chambers, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150. Information: (949) 707-2650.
