WASHINGTON — U.S. regulators said Thursday that about 670,000 Cosco infant car seats/carriers and 273,000 Playskool Spillproof cups were being voluntarily recalled because they could be a health hazard to children.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Dorel Industries Inc.’s Cosco unit, in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, is recalling the Arriva and Turnabout infant car seats/carriers because they are unsafe when used outside the car as an infant carrier.
The recall involves Arriva and Turnabout infant car seat/carrier models.
