Aprile Powell/Basketball, Century/Senior
Powell, a 6-2 center, led the Centurions to Empire League victories over El Dorado and Cypress by averaging 25 points and 18.5 rebounds. Powell, who is being recruited by Fresno State, Texas El Paso, Cal State Fullerton, Ball State and Cal Poly Pomona, missed her first six shots against rival El Dorado Tuesday, but finished with 22 points and 21 rebounds in a 50-16 victory.
Kristen Mann/Basketball; Foothill/Sophomore
Center scored 29 points in Century League victories over Villa Park and Canyon.
Jackie Pirro/Water Polo; Foothill/Junior
Had 10 goals, seven steals, and six assists at Coronado tournament.
Britta Vogele/Soccer; Corona del Mar/Sophomore
Recorded two shutouts and 28 saves against Woodbridge and Newport Harbor.
