* S. Bennett Construction in Ventura has received a contract for $328,954 from Ventura County to repair storm damage on Piru Canyon Road. The project involves building concrete wingwall and reconstructing road sections, embankment and rock slope protection.
The work is scheduled to be completed by March 11.

* Kavlico Corp. of Moorpark has won a $222,525 contract from the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio, for aircraft components.
