Moorpark 83, Pierce 80--Chris Mosesso had 11 three pointers and made 13 of 25 shots to finish with 39 points in leading the Raiders (9-6) to a WSC interdivision victory at Pierce.
Mosesso broke a 74-74 tie with consecutive three pointers with 50 seconds left to play.
Lenea Gutierrez, who had 13 points, sank two free throws with 19 seconds left to provide the winning margin.
Stephanie Taylor had 24 points for Pierce (4-9). Cheryl Flores scored 19 points for the Brahmas and teammate Claudia Zilla added 15.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Glendale 89, Cuesta 73--Louis Fernandez scored 21 points and Denny Ogden had 19 in a WSC interdivision game at Cuesta as the Vaqueros (13-4) avenged an earlier 17-point loss to the Bulldogs (16-6).
Bethel College (Kan.) 79, Cal Lutheran 75--The Kingsmen, who trailed, 32-18, with four minutes left in the first half, narrowed their deficit to 76-73 with less than a minute left in the game, but couldn’t get any closer.
Mike Dulaney had 17 points and 11 rebounds for Cal Lutheran (4-5).
San Bernardino 96, Antelope Valley 73--The Indians went on a 23-7 run in the first six minutes of the second half to build a 68-45 lead and went on to defeat the Marauders (7-12, 0-1) in a Foothill Conference opener at San Bernardino.
