Market Scan Fills New Sales, Marketing Position

Market Scan Information Systems in Westlake Villlage has named David Bartels as its national director of sales and marketing for retail installment contracts.
“We created this new position because we want to focus more on retail installment contracts and develop that important market,” said Mike Mullen, Market Scan’s vice president and chief operating officer.
“David has outstanding experience in the automotive industry, and we are fortunate to have him on our management team.”
Before joining Market Scan, Bartels was vice president, director of sales and marketing and a board member at Diamond Technology. His 20-year career in the automotive industry includes sales management and training and developing, teaching and implementing technology products. Market Scan sells Lease Prophet II, used by automobile dealers to create leasing contracts on the spot. For the past three years, Market Scan has been named in Inc. Magazine as one of America’s 500 fastest-growing privately held companies.
