The City Council will consider a proposal for development of a Pioneer’s Grove at Portola Park at its Jan. 3 meeting.
The La Habra Old Settler’s Society is proposing the plan, which features a play area, picnic grounds, historical museum and monument plaque.
The Community Services Commission voted 6 to 1 earlier this month recommending the council approve the plan.
