The Yorba Linda Planning Commission will meet tonight to consider a proposal by a cellular phone company to add new antennas to an existing communications tower.
City officials said their studies have shown that adding antennas to the 50-foot tower in the Eastlake Village Shopping Center would not pose a health risk. Two wireless communications companies will share the tower, built in 1998, in an effort to reduce the need to build new ones.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave.
