“I’ve been drinking something that you can’t get--it’s from the Sherwin Family Vineyards. They produce about 100 to 120 cases a year . . . but eventually it will be 3,000 to 4,000 cases. I had the ’96 Cabernet. It was a fabulous wine. Very complex, with a nice mineral character. It was herbal and long on cherry fruit--it had a great mouth feel. It was a very, very full wine. It’s a nice find. Let’s put it this way, if someone finds it and keeps it, it’ll be worth something someday, especially the first vintage.”
