The 18th Irvine World News tournament, which begins today, features eight county schools in its 12-team field. The second Anaheim Holiday Classic opens Tuesday with 13 county schools in its 16-team field.
The Irvine tournament splits the field into four pools that will utilize Woodbridge, University and Irvine high schools, with the final day of action at Concordia University. The championship final is at 6 p.m.
The Anaheim Convention Center Arena will host most of the Holiday Classic. Eight games are on tap Saturday, including the 8 p.m. championship game.
