More than 200 people showed up at the Anaheim Community Center in support of Saturday’s bone marrow registration and blood drive. The drive was an effort to help find a bone marrow match for Homicide Det. Guy Reneau, 41, who was diagnosed with leukemia in July. “We were overwhelmed,” Sgt. Joe Vargas said. The event was sponsored by the City of Hope and the Anaheim Police Assn. Information: (800) 535-7119.
