Daniel Freeman Hospitals Names CEO

* Joseph W. Dunn has been promoted to chief executive and president of Inglewood-based Daniel Freeman Hospitals Inc. He has held a number of posts at both Daniel Freeman Memorial and Daniel Freeman Marina hospitals.

* Merisel Inc., an El Segundo-based distributor of computer hardware and software, has appointed former Ingram Micro executive David M. Ochser vice president of marketing and business development for its Merisel Open Computing Alliance division. Ochser succeeds Beth Wright, who was promoted to the new position of vice president of strategic technologies. At Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro, Ochser was business unit director of its Sun Microsystems division and advanced software division.
