The city’s staff has recommended that the City Council exercise a termination clause in the Mission Viejo Nadadores lease on the Marguerite Aquatics Complex in order to renegotiate their contract. The recommendation is based on a survey, commissioned by the City Council, that reports that residents support the presence of the Mission Viejo Nadadores but would like to see the complex opened to the public as well as the addition of swim lessons and other aquatic programs for all residents.
