7:30 TONIGHT SAN CLEMENTE HIGH
If San Clemente wins, it becomes the front-runner for the second playoff berth from the South Coast League since it would have the tiebreaker over Trabuco Hills. If the Tritons lose, they will have to battle Mission Viejo for the last playoff berth. Since beginning the season with two losses, San Clemente has won four of five, the only loss coming to second-ranked Mater Dei. The Tritons’ “fly offense” is tough to figure out, but Trabuco Hills saw it last year so the Mustangs should be prepared. Trabuco Hills has been winning on defense, holding its last four opponents to seven points or fewer.
