Stolen Car Burned; Thieves Being Sought

Police are searching for thieves who stole a car Thursday and torched it with a Molotov cocktail.
No one was injured in the 11:40 a.m. fire at Brea Canyon and Tonner Canyon roads, near the border with Los Angeles County. The seats and the dashboard of the 1991 Mazda RX-7 melted, but the fire caused little damage to the rest of the car, police said.
Authorities said that burning stolen vehicles is a common occurrence in Los Angeles County, officials said.
