* Designed as an Italian Renaissance palace at a cost of $1.6 billion, Las Vegas’ newest hotel, the Bellagio, above, opens its doors Oct. 15, with shops like Armani and Chanel, restaurants, dancing fountains and Cirque du Soleil’s newest show. * At the Rio Suite Hotel & Casino, Nov. 7-April 15: “Treasures of Russia From Peterhof--Palaces of the Czars” brings a never-before-seen-outside-of-Russia collection of Romanov dynasty treasures including paintings, porcelain works, tapestries, furniture, jewelry, gowns and religious artifacts displayed in replicas of many of the rooms and galleries of Peterhof. 3700 W.
