At its meeting tonight, the City Council will review its budget checklist and determine what projects it can afford that it didn’t set aside money for in earlier deliberations.
Street-light improvements, Irvine Avenue median landscaping, parking at the Balboa Pier and citywide parking-meter replacement are among the items the council first talked about during budget discussions in June, and decided to revisit this month to determine how much money might be available for them.
The council will meet at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 3300 W. Newport Blvd. Information: (949) 644-3309.
