For the second year in a row, Paraclete won a Southern Section title, defeating Kilpatrick, 25-14, at Antelope Valley College.
The Spirits are 26-2 the last two seasons. Paraclete won the Division XI championship last season.
Kilpatrick, which lost its second division final in nine years, closed the season with a 7-2 run.
Both losses came to Alpha League rival Paraclete.
The standout Saturday was Paraclete tailback Michael Washington, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown in 13 carries and returned the second half’s kickoff for an 88-yard touchdown that gave his team a 22-8 lead.
Kilpatrick used its double wing-T offense to rush for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
